- Biometric Data: Temporary face-scans used during our "Liveness Check" to ensure your profile photo matches your real identity. We do not store raw biometric templates.
- Financial Metadata: M-Pesa transaction IDs to verify "Serious Intent" through our credit system.
- Social Attributes: Information regarding your Tribe, County, and Income status, which you voluntarily provide to enable precise matchmaking.
2. AI & Automated Processing
Our algorithms process your preferences to suggest matches. You have the right to request a manual review of any automated account suspension by contacting our Support Team.
3. Data Sovereignty & Security
As of 2026, all True Match user data is stored on locally hosted servers in Nairobi, Kenya, in compliance with data residency regulations. We utilize AES-256 bit encryption for all private messages and personal identifiers.
4. Your Rights under the DPA
Under the Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:
- Right to be Forgotten: You can delete your account, which triggers a permanent purge of your data within 72 hours.
- Data Portability: Request a digital copy of all information we hold about you.
- Right to Correction: Update your status or personal details at any time via your dashboard.
